This place was incredibly clean and had a beautiful view of the forest, it's also conveniently located near Romania, the Vidraru dam, and the famous statue of Prometheus.

It was near to Lake Vidraru. The buffet breakfast. Rooms with a gorgeous view were very clean. Their receptionist rocks!

The units are stylish, neat. The staff are well-mannered, managed the parking onsite. The location is unbeatable and excellent, 5 km from Poenari Castle.

loved my stay in capatineni-ungureni, but posada vidraru blew me away! beautiful rooms with an amazing view, delicious buffet breakfast every day, and the friendly staff made it even better. loved playing snooker and trying out the other recreational activities on-site, can't wait to come back for a longer stay.

this hotel is equal to 4 stars. loved location and food, comfortable beds, the property itself was very clean. booked a twin room with multi-channel tv, a mini fridge bar and a writing table. plus, parking lot on site was super convenient for guests with car.

The street outside is quite noisy.

the breakfast was satisfactory with panoramic view and had something for everyone. the location turned out to be marvellous, close enough to the restaurant, activities available, and the beautiful vidraru lake.

We loved the fantastic location of this hotel with its breathtaking views right on the lake. The peaceful setting among the trees made it ideal for relaxation. The hotel facilities were modern and well-maintained. We found the breakfast to be delicious and satisfying. The staff was welcoming and attentive to our needs.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was absolutely stunning, right next to the Vidraru lake. The views were breathtaking and it was a perfect place to relax and unwind. The service was top-notch, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room amenities were excellent, with heating, air conditioning, and a mini-bar. We loved the terrace, where we could sit and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The hotel had a great spa and wellness center, with a sauna, jacuzzi, and massage services. We had an amazing full body massage here. The Wi-Fi connection was also reliable, which was a big plus.

We highly recommend this hotel to everyone.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Posada Vidraru for a few nights while visiting the beautiful Transfagarasan road. The rooms were clean and modern, with amazing views of the lake. The restaurant served delicious food at affordable prices, and the staff was incredibly hospitable. The pool and sauna were spacious and not crowded, with a breathtaking view of the lake. There were also many activities available, such as pool, darts, and a playground for children. a great experience.

just had the best stay ever in Capatineni-Ungureni! posada vidraru really went above and beyond. rooms were super clean and modern, restaurant served delicious food with stunning lake views. even got invited to a party with a huge bbq. can't wait to go back, amazing value and hospitality.

Staff using leisure area, bit disappointing.

The hotel is excellently located very close to the Vidraru Dam with its famous statue of Prometheus guarding the dam. It offers stunning views of the tranquil lake and surrounding forest from the spacious and modern rooms. the attentive staff provides good service, delicious breakfast, and recommendable restaurants. the hotel has excellent facilities like trekking paths and a relaxing atmosphere.

The parking facility might be a bit crowded since it is also frequented by tourists visiting the famous dam and lake.
